OVERVIEW

Figure 4® Rigid White Is A High-Performance Opaque White Material That Combines Environmental Stability With A Long-Lasting, Clean White Tone. This Material Is Suggested For Medical, Consumer Goods, And Industrial Production Applications, As Well As For Any Other Application That Requires A Smooth Surface Finish, Long-Term Indoor And Outdoor Stability, And Biocompatibility. Additionally, It Has A Heat Deflection Temperature Of 65°C And A High Elongation At Break. Excessive Throughput Is Enabled By Fast Print Rates And Simpler Post-Processing.

APPLICATIONS

  • Handles and fittings for biocompatible medical applications
  • Enclosures for electronic devices and tiny components or parts for gadgets
  • Housings for motors, coverings, guards, snap-fit components, jigs, fixtures, and other functional prototype and low-volume manufacturing components

BENEFITS

  • Long-term environmental stability of up to 8 years indoors and 2 years outdoors
  • Rapid progression from raw material to completed item; no further thermal cure necessaryimple cleaning using a single solvent
  • Superior surface quality, repeatability, and accuracy

FEATURES

  • Thermoplastic behavior with necking at the break temperature of 65°C
  • 20% elongation at break
  • 2200MPa flexural modulus
  • UL94 HB flammability is biocompatible according to ISO10993-5 and ISO10993-10.
  • At a 50-micron layer thickness, print rates of up to 47 mm/hr are possible.
  • Fast throughput to finished part; no secondary thermal cure required
  • In Premium Plus mode, this enables the printing of bigger, thicker geometries.

MATERIAL PROPERTIES

When appropriate, the complete set of mechanical characteristics is provided in accordance with ASTM and ISO standards. All components are conditioned for a minimum of 40 hours at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity in accordance with ASTM recommendations. Physical and mechanical qualities, as well as thermal, UL flammability, and electrical properties, are all included in material properties (dielectric strength, dielectric constant, dissipation factor, and volume resistivity).

ISOTROPIC PROPERTIES

When applicable, a comprehensive list of mechanical properties in line with ASTM and ISO standards is supplied. All components are conditioned for a minimum of 40 hours at a temperature of 23 °C and a relative humidity of 50%, as recommended by ASTM. Material attributes include physical and mechanical characteristics, as well as thermal, UL flammability, and electrical properties (dielectric strength, dielectric constant, dissipation factor, and volume resistivity).
