Import Data
Import the Test Scan Data or 3D Scan: STL, ASC,PLY, or mesh file from the 3D Scanner.
CAD Data: Native or neutral CAD formats (STEP, IGES, etc.)
Ensure correct alignment of units and coordinate system.

Preprocess the Mesh
Clean up scan (remove noise, fill holes, smooth)
Optimise the mesh if needed

Align Scan to CAD
Initial Alignment: Manual or best-fit alignment
Refined Alignment: RPS, 3-2-1, or datum-based alignment

Define Inspection Features
Extract features (planes, cylinders, holes, etc.)
Create datums if necessary.
Add tolerances per GD&T or design requirement.

Perform Inspection
Compare the scan to CAD
Generate deviation colour maps
Measure 2D/3D dimensions, angles, flatness, roundness, etc.
Identify pass/fail conditions.

Create and Customise Reports
Add annotated views, results tables, and charts
Insert company logo,
Export as PDF, Excel, or HTML
