Tire collision check

Overview

Tire collision check

The risk of serious accidents always happens because of uneven tire wear, premature wearing of the shocks, and can even cause the vehicle to pull in one direction suddenly. When your tires are pushed beyond their ability to grip the road surface, traction is lost and the car skids. Usually with a lot of tortured tire noises. To inspect this tire’s wear and grip, we can scan the tire in two methods. The first one is to scan the tire impression when the vehicle has moved for some distance. The second one is to take the entire tire part separately and scan it. These scans can be obtained using a 3D scanner and the scan data is imported in 3D reverse engineering software like Geomagic Control X. In this software the scan data and CAD data of the tire impression can be compared or the scan data of the separate tire part can be inspected for wear analysis, dimension check using colour map deviation. The final output inspection report is given in PDF format to the customer.
